Tim Hudson is Professor Emeritus and Founding Dean of the School of Communication at Point Park University, Pittsburgh, PA. He was Founding Director of the School of Communication at East Carolina University, as well as longtime professor, Associate Director and Director of the H.H. Herbert School of JMC at the University of Oklahoma. He co-authored the grant that founded the Gaylord College of JMC at Oklahoma. His professional experience includes television news reporting, documentary production, and interactive media research and design. He is known for his pioneering use of interactive media research methods on the subject of television news ethics. Dr. Hudson has also developed a number of student and faculty international study/research programs.
